Halloween has now passed – with the leaves brown and falling, the wind picking up, and the rainfall more frequent.
On Halloween night, Oct. 31, Barney’s Boo Bash was hosted at the MHCC Main Mall. The annual event featured people of all ages dressed up for Halloween tricks and treats. Tables were set up by various Mt. Hood clubs and departments, offering a variety of treats including hot chocolate, apple cider, popcorn, and all sorts of candy. Approximatly 1100 people attented this year, contrasted by an attendance of approximatly 950 last year. Additionally, 600 pounds of candy was bought for this event, and all of it was gone by the end.
Now, Veteran’s Day and Thanksgiving are approaching, accompanied by a campus closure on Tuesday, Nov. 11, and by Thanksgiving break which begins on Wednesday, Nov. 26, and effectively ends on Dec. 1.
