MEET THE ADVOCATE - Adeola Ade-Serrano

Hello! I’m the writer behind the “Frugal Living” column for The Advocate. I share practical money tips, budget-friendly hacks, and everyday strategies to help students stretch their dollars and still enjoy life. Originally from Nigeria, I love exploring new places, learning how people live, and finding creative ways to save while having adventures. I’ve traveled to 10 countries, and my love for adventure hasn’t slowed down since arriving in the U.S. just this past March. I’ve visited three states, and I’m always hunting for the next destination on a budget.

Outside of MHCC, you can usually find me watching reality TV, testing and reviewing products just for fun, or chatting about money, mindset, and business.
